About us

As a charity, the Land Trust can

  • accept donations of land
  • fundraise to secure and manage selected properties
  • enter into conservation agreements for the permanent protection of natural landscapes, forests, farms and waterways
  • provide public education and information on land conservation tools.

The Land Trust is governed by a volunteer board of directors representing a cross section of the community including landowners, farmers, business people and professionals.

Board Meetings are held at 7:00 p.m. on the fourth Thursday of each month, and are open to the public. If you would like to attend, please leave a message, and we will confirm the date, time and location with you.

Donate Now Through CanadaHelps.org! Volunteers are always welcome!

The Northumberland Land Trust requires a volunteer to attend the board meeting on the fourth Thursday of each month to take, prepare and circulate minutes to board members. Please mail your interest to info@northumberlandlandtrust.ca
